NHS Fife has announced a switch to essential visitors only in ward 10 at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.

They say the measure, which came into place at midnight, will be kept under review and does not impact on visiting arrangements in other parts of the hospital.

Ward 10 looks after patients undergoing elective orthopaedic procedures.

Last week, NHS Fife has announced temporary changes to community hospital visiting after a "sharp rise" in the number of inpatient wards affected by COVID-19.
