TWO local youngsters ran into the freezing Meedies water at the weekend to raise money for local community projects.
Maci Fotheringham and Maya Saunders completed their delayed Splash 4 Cash on Sunday.
They were raising money for improvements to the Fairy Wood at Lochore Meadows, and their online fundraiser is close to reaching £400 after completing the challenge.
Katie Ormiston ran into the water with the pair to ensure they were safe in the cold water.
Maci and Maya had hoped to raise £200 in donations but thanks to everyone’s generosity the target has been exceeded with ease; and pledges are still coming in.
