A KINCARDINE man has been sentenced for months of abuse towards his former partner.
Gary Rankine, 29, of Kincairne Place, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between May 1 and September 22, 2019, at addresses in Cowdenbeath, Kirkcaldy, Kelty and Kincardine, he engaged in an abusive course of behaviour towards his ex-partner.
His behaviour included shouting and swearing at her, uttering offensive remarks to her and sending her messages in which he called her derogatory names.
He also pinned her against a door, accused her of infidelity and struck her on the arm with a mop to her injury.
Sheriff Wylie Robertson imposed a community payback order with 150 hours of unpaid work and 18 months of supervision.
He also imposed a three-year non-harassment order.
