A DRIVER was stopped by police at Halbeath Park and Ride near Crossgates as the Festive Drink Drug Drive Campaign continues.
Officers part of Fife Road Policing unit revealed on social media that two drug-drivers, and one drink-driver, are now in custody as part of the campaign which continued last night (Thursday) and into the early hours of this morning.
A driver at the Park and Ride was stopped with no exhaust and a bald tyre, officers said.
Another driver, in the Kirkcaldy area, was having a "#PartyInTheCar", a Fife Police Division Facebook post stated.
The full post read: "Another busy backshift for #FifeRP 2Drug and 1Drink Driver in Custody as part of the Festive DrinkDrug Campaign.
"One driver was stopped with no exhaust & a bald tyre.
"The other was having a #PartyInTheCar when we turned up.
"It was obvious both drivers had been having a #WeeSmoke."
