Kelty Hearts boss Thomson is offering fans the chance to claim an historic piece of memorabilia in a bid to raise money for two schools local to him.
The 37-year-old was part of the Rangers team that played in the 2008 UEFA Cup final against Zenit St Petersburg in Manchester - Rangers lost the match 2-0 -, and he is auctioning off the boots he wore to for the benefit of Oxgangs Primary and the PE department at Firrhill High School, in the south-west of Edinburgh.
The current highest bid is £2,500, and the auction will end at 8pm on January 9.
