A TEENAGER who punched his partner in the face has appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
The offender was Jack Halkett, 19, of High Street, Cowdenbeath.
He admitted that on August 28, at an address in Kelty, he assaulted his partner by punching her to the face, to her injury.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said: “He’s appropriately remorseful for what has taken place.” He added that his client had no previous convictions.
Sheriff Grant McCulloch told Halkett: “You’ve behaved badly, haven’t you? You need to learn to behave.”
He imposed a community payback order with nine months of supervision.
