A CLOTHING shop in Lochgelly could be converted into a hot-food takeaway.
A fresh application has been lodged with Fife Council seeking to change the site of 25 Bank Street, formerly Pins and Needles, into a takeaway.
The applicant, Mr Kartar Singh Barhaya, wants to make alterations to and change the use from retail shop (Class 1) to hot-food takeaway (sui generis), including installation of replacement door to front, formation of door to rear, installation of roller shutter and flue.
A previous application for the premises was submitted in March, proposing that the operating hours would be from 11am to 11pm should approval be granted.
The initial application, reported on by the Times, was withdrawn in September.
