A 41-year-old man was caught drink driving in Crossgates when he was more than four times over the limit.
The offender was Simon Whyte, formerly of South Larch Way, Dunfermline, now of Sinclair Drive, Cowdenbeath.
He appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court representing himself.
He admitted that on September 29 in Main Street, Crossgates, he drove after consuming excess alcohol. His reading was 93 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 22 microgrammes.
Sheriff Charles Macnair called for reports and Whyte will be sentenced on December 8.
