Evro Pro Football Academy 0
Cowdenbeath 3

WITH no competitive game on Saturday through having lost their Scottish Cup second round tie with Civil Service Strollers, the Blue Brazil took on the Evro Pro Football Academy in a friendly match held in Glasgow.

The Cowdenbeath line-up showed a few changes with Ross Clarke back in the starting line-up and Gavin Morrison and Kyle Miller paired together in the midfield.

The Blues started the game well and had a few early openings and they took the lead with a good finish from Craig Thomson (pictured), playing in midfield.

As Cowdenbeath continued to have the better of things Fraser Mullen made it 2-0 in the 26th minute with one of his hard-hit finishes.

Evro Pro had a couple of half chances but Cammy Gill dealt with everything they could put together and when Kane O’Connor got number three in the second period it was game over.

The big defender hit the target in 56 minutes after a set-piece.

Cowdenbeath: Cammy Gill (Trialist), Fraser Mullen (Lennon Watson), Harvey Swann (Quinn Coulson), Kane O'Connor, Craig Barr (Ross Pollock), Ross Clarke, Gavin Morrison, Kyle Miller, Bobby Barr (Luke Mahady), Liam Buchanan (Robbie Buchanan), Craig Thomson.
