A MAN whose car overturned on the B921 road near Kinglassie on Sunday afternoon later failed a breath test.

A post on the Fife Police Facebook page said the driver left the scene of the crash and was found nearby uninjured.

It added: "It turned out to be more than a case of 'You can't park there sir' when alcohol was smelled from him.

"Breath test failed, samples taken and reported for careless driving."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were made aware of a crash involving a single car on the B921 near Kinglassie around 5.45am on Sunday.

“A 40-year-old man will be reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.”
