A COWDENBEATH funeral director raised almost £300 from a bake sale last month with the proceeds handed over to charity.
Colin Sneddon Funeral Directors held the bake sale at their Station Road premises on September 24 and raised a fantastic £280.30 which has now been given to Rachel House in Kinross.
Colin said: “We went up to Rachel House in Kinross to present the cheque from the proceeds of the bake sale we had a week past Friday which raised £280.30.
“Presenting the cheque was our very own Kelly O'Neil McGovern and civil celebrant Angela McCormack who baked all the cakes.
“Thank you to everyone who came in and bought cakes and raffle tickets and also the donations. Very much appreciated by all involved.”
Awards for the raffle included a top prize of a huge chocolate cake, with strawberry wine for second place.
