POLICE in Cowdenbeath have appealed for information after wheelie bins were set on fire at the town’s War Memorial.
According to police, there have been a number of incidents whereby nearby residents’ bins have been stolen, taken to the monument, then set on fire.
The fires have since caused damage to the memorial and are causing issues on neighbours and the wider community, police said.
Anyone with information should contact police on 111.
