A COWDENBEATH man drove a car when more than four times over the limit then struggled with police officers.

Andrew Watson, 42, of Tulloch Court, admitted the offences at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

On August 29, in High Street and Tulloch Court, Cowdenbeath, he drove a car having consumed excess alcohol.

His reading was 98 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 22 microgrammes.

He also admitted he drove without insurance and at Tulloch Court, he resisted three police constables by struggling with them.

Sheriff Lindsay Foulis called for reports and imposed a temporary driving ban until sentencing on October 20.
