ASSAULT, possession of drugs, vandalism and housebreaking were just some of the crimes dealt with by police in the Cowdenbeath area last week.
Between September 13 and 19 they received 262 calls for the patch, which also covers Lochgelly, Kelty, Crossgates, Hill of Beath, Benarty and Cardenden, with 37 of them requiring an emergency response.
This led to 37 crime files being opened, containing 43 charges and 17 of those charges have been detected.
Other offences over the seven days included breach of bail, domestic abuse, fraud, theft, 'communication offences', stealing a car and breach of an ASBO (anti-social behaviour order).
Road traffic offences included failing to stop, speeding and driving under the influence of drink or drugs.
