A FIGHT broke out between two women in Lochgelly at around 10am, a court has heard.
A 43-year-old woman got into a physical confrontation with another female, grabbing her hair and hitting her over the head with a phone.
The offender was Charlene Valente, of Primmer Place, Cowdenbeath.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, Valente appeared for sentencing.
She admitted previously that on September 12, 2019, at Mcgregor Avenue, Lochgelly, she acted in a disorderly manner, engaged in a fight with another female, struggled with her, seized her by the hair, struck her on the head with an unknown object and committed a breach of the peace.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said the woman had turned up at Valente’s home before 10am and challenges were made about fighting.
Valente then struck the woman with a “blunt object” and police were contacted.
The court was told the object involved had been the mobile phone Valente had been holding.
Sheriff Richard McFarlane imposed a six-month structured deferred sentence and Valente will return to court on March 9.
