A MAN has been arrested following a crash in Cardenden in the early hours of this morning.
Police raced to the town’s Station Road following reports that there had been a one-car crash.
When officers arrived they found the vehicle but nobody inside it.
Following a search, a 46-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.10am on Tuesday, 14 September, 2021, police were called to a report of a one car road crash in Station Road, Cardenden.
Emergency services attended and there were no persons within the vehicle.
“Following enquiries, a 46-year-old man was traced and arrested in connection with the incident.
“He has been released pending further enquiries.”
