Fife Council planners have approved the move
FIFE Council have given the green light to plans to change part of a house into a childminding facility.
Cardenden woman Simone Herd had applied to Fife Council planners to change part of her home into a childminding facility.
Simone, of Little Herd Childcare, was allowed to care for six children of whom no more than three are not yet attending school.
She is allowed to increase this to 12 children and hire an assistant after approval was given by planners.
Ms Herd has said the increase in children would help in the “shortage of childcare in the village” as she would take care of more at her Cardenden Road home.
