NICOLA Sturgeon has confirmed that Scotland will remove the majority of the remaining Covid restrictions as of Monday.
The first minister made the announcement earlier this afternoon where she confirmed that social distancing will be scrapped in all settings, although face masks are still going to be mandatory.
From August 9, no premises will require to be closed, meaning nightlife will go back to a state of normality, including nightclubs.
It also means sports events can have full crowds, as can other events such as theatres.
