A 42-YEAR-OLD man used someone else’s bank card repeatedly in a Cowdenbeath shop.
As a result, Myles Young appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Young, formerly of Main Street, Lumphinnans, now of Bruce Street, Dunfermline, admitted that on March 22 last year, at Good News, Broad Street, Cowdenbeath, he pretended to an employee that he was the owner of a bank card which belonged to someone else and obtained goods worth £32 by fraud.
The court heard Young had used the card in the shop on three separate occasions in less than two hours that morning.
When CCTV from the shop was viewed later, Young was identified.
Sheriff Alastair Brown warned Young that with his criminal record, any offending brought the risk of a jail sentence.
However, on this occasion he imposed a three-month restriction of liberty order.
