A LOCHORE man breached his bail conditions by sending his former partner a photo of a new tattoo.

Shaun Docherty, 29, of Rosewell Crescent, appeared back at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted he breached bail conditions by sending multiple messages to the woman via social media and texts.

He had previously been banned from contacting the woman in any way.

Depute fiscal Mat Piskorf said the offending included Docherty sending the woman a photo of a new tattoo he had on his knuckle with the message, “Told you I got a tat”.

Defence solicitor Ian Beatson said: “The relationship is now over but she’s still sending him texts.

“He was foolish and appreciates he should have complied with the conditions. He was well aware of the conditions and knows it was stupid.”

Sheriff Alastair Brown imposed a four-month restriction of liberty order.
