DEVELOPMENT continues at The Avenue in Lochgelly with Fife Council giving permission for new access roads and footpaths.
Easy Living Developments Ltd, based in Glenrothes, have been building homes on the site on the outskirts of the town for years with more than 100 houses planned.
The Avenue is being developed in phases and will have a mix of bungalows, three-, four- and five-bedroom detached villas and semi-detached houses.
The company applied for roads construction consent in December and the council have now given their approval.
Easy Living said permission would allow phase four access roads and new footpaths to be built to serve the new homes that have been erected.
The work will be carried out and paid for by the developer and a number of conditions have been attached to the consent, which lasts for three years.
