COPS dealt with 234 calls for the Cowdenbeath area in a seven day period and crimes including assault, possession of drugs and 10 incidents of vandalism.

Police gave a rundown on their weekly activities with 34 of the calls requiring an immediate response.

That led to 33 crime files being created and 50 charges being levelled against the alleged perpetrators.

As well as those mentioned above, offences included robbery, attempted extortion, theft, breach of bail and shoplifting.

Road traffic offences comprised driving while impaired through cannabis, getting behind the wheel with no insurance, dangerous driving, defective tyres and careless driving.
