A LOCHGELLY man was caught driving at almost twice the legal limit.
Ryan Adams, 23, of Plantation Street, admitted the offence at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
The charge was that on May 13, on the A823 and the M90, he drove after consuming excess alcohol.
His reading was 42 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 22 microgrammes.
Sheriff Charles Macnair deferred sentence until July 1 for reports. Adams was banned from driving with immediate effect.
