POLICE in Fife have urged anyone watching the football tonight to do so safely and drink responsibly.

Scotland take on England at Wembley at 8pm in the Euros in one of the country's biggest matches in modern history.

Fife Police Division have now asked everyone to enjoy the game safely - and warned that they'll be patrolling roads tomorrow morning.

Taking to social media, the force warned: "We want everyone to enjoy the game but please drink responsibly.

"If you're out for a drink remember to organise a lift, taxi or alternate transport.

"Think about the next morning too as we’ll still be out stopping vehicles."
