Ms Herd has applied to Fife Council
A CARDENDEN woman has applied to Fife Council planners to change part of her home into a childminding facility.
Simone Herd, of Little Herd Childcare, currently is allowed to care for six children of whom no more than three are not yet attending school.
She is now looking to increase this to 12 children and hire an assistant.
Ms Herd has said the increase in children would help in the “shortage of childcare in the village” as she would take care of more at her Cardenden Road home.
