A PERSON is in hospital following a multi-car pile-up on a busy motorway.
Four vehicles are thought to have been involved in a crash on the eastbound lane of the M8 near Glasgow Airport today at around 3.35pm.
There were tailbacks to the M898 following the crash, which has since been cleared.

Police and emergency medics were on the scene following the smash.
A spokesman for the force said: "Officers were called to the M8 eastbound near to junction 29 at around 3.35pm on Thursday, May 6, following a multi-vehicle crash.
"At least four vehicles are believed to have been involved. One person was taken to hospital.
"Recovery has been arranged for vehicles not able to be driven from the scene. The road re-opened by 4.30pm."
