The fire is believed to have been started on purpose.
POLICE in Central Fife are investigating after a house was deliberately set on fire.
In the early hours of Monday, May 3, a fire was spotted at a property on Balbedie Avenue, Lochore.
Police now believe the blaze was set deliberately and are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers are investigating a Wilful Fireraising which occured about 03.55am on 3rd May at Balbedie Avenue, Lochore.
“Thankfully no one was injured, however a property was damaged as a result.
“Please call 101 quoting ref 0441 of the 3rd May if you have any information.”
