Officers are looking to trace the driver of the car
POLICE are trying to trace a vehicle which drove into a lamp post before taking off.
Officers were called to Lochgelly’s Cartmore Road earlier this afternoon [Friday] following reports of a crash.
Officers discovered that a vehicle had collided with a lamp post before leaving the scene of the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called around 12.30pm after a bang was heard in the Cartmore Road area of Lochgelly.
“It later transpired a lamp post was hit by an unknown vehicle and enquiries continue.”
