A YOUNG man has appeared in court following a hit-and-run in Central Fife earlier this month.
On April 8, a man was rushed to hospital after being found injured on Kirkland Avenue, Ballingry.
Following an investigation, police determined the man had been struck by a vehicle before being left in the street.
A 20-year-old male has now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and has appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Following enquiries into a road crash in Kirkland Avenue, Ballingry, on Thursday, 8 April, 2021, we can confirm that a 20-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.”
