A LOCHGELLY man is to go on trial for allegedly carrying out an armed mugging.
A trial date for Michael Stewart, 35, of Burgh Court, has been set for September 13 at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
It is alleged that on March 16 last year at Bank Street, Lochgelly, whilst acting with another person, he assaulted a man, demanded money from him, seized him, presented a sharp or bladed implement at him, demanded he gave him his mobile phone and robbed him of a shopping bag containing foodstuffs.
