A LOCHGELLY motorist who was stopped by police was found to have a knuckleduster in his vehicle.
Police became suspicious about the agitated appearance of Kenneth Gavin and decided to carry out a search.
Gavin, 37, of Lumphinnans Road, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on May 26 last year at Chapel Street, Lochgelly, he drove without being the holder of a valid licence and without insurance.
After a trial, he was found guilty of a third charge that he was unlawfully in possession of a knuckleduster.
Sheriff Charles Macnair called for reports and Gavin will be sentenced on May 4.
