DOZENS of new homes could be built in a Central Fife town after a housing association lodged planning papers with Fife Council.
Kingdom Housing Association have submitted plans to build 12 flats and 33 houses on the site north of 1 Kinglassie Road, Cardenden.
It is understood that the properties would be affordable, with Kingdom specialising in mid-market rent housing.
The application reads: “Erection of 45 affordable residential dwellings (12 flatted dwellings and 33 dwellinghouses) with associated flood storage area, access, landscaping and infrastructure (Non Material Variation to amend street/road layouts/levels and amend canopies from mono-pitch to dual-pitch to 19/03437/FULL) at Land To North Of 1 Kinglassie Road, Auchterderran, Cardenden.”
