POLICE in Fife are following a positive line of enquiry after a man was injured in a hit-and-run incident yesterday morning.
The man was found injured on Kirkland Avenue, Ballingry, yesterday morning and was rushed to hospital.
It was unclear at the time how he came to be injured, but officers now believe he was struck by a vehicle, and have said their investigation is ongoing.

The condition of the man is currently unknown, but he was taken to Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital yesterday morning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.15am on Thursday, 8 April, 2021, police were called after a man was injured in a road crash in Kirkland Avenue, Ballingry.
“He was taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment. Officers are following a positive line of enquiry."
The Times understands the incident is being viewed as a hit-and-run.
