A WOMAN was hospitalised following a three car crash in Lochgelly on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to Lumphinnans Road following reports of an accident and upon arrival found three cars involved.
Officers confirmed to the Times that one woman was taken to hospital but were unable to elaborate on her condition.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.30 pm this afternoon, Saturday, 3 April, 2021, police were called to a three vehicle road crash on Lumphinnans Road, Lochgelly.
“One woman has been taken to the Victoria Hospital in Fife, more as a precaution, but cannot confirm if injured or not.
“The road re-opened at 4.20 pm. Enquiries are continuing.”
