POLICE in Cowdenbeath have once again hit out at anti-social behaviour from youths after the town’s War Memorial was the target of vandalism last night [Friday].
Officers posted a photo on social media showing wreaths at the monument broken and scattered on the ground, adding that it “saddened” them.
However, officers have said they are aware of who was in the area and that they could expect a visit at some point today.
The post ended with a message to parents. It read: “We know where your children were, do you?”
It comes amid a rise in anti-social behaviour throughout Fife of late, with numerous complaints of smashed glass being discarded on public parks and fires being intentionally lit.
