A PROPERTY developer has appealed to the Scottish Government after Fife Council failed to respond to a planning application to build dozens of homes.
Lochay Homes applied for planning permission to build 43 properties, including 20 affordable units, on land in Cardenden.
However, after failing to get a decision from Fife Council within the statutory time period, the developer has now gone to Scottish Ministers to decide.
The application, which was initially made on October 20 last year, would see the homes built on land to the north of Cardenden Road.
