SCOTLAND's lockdown exit strategy has been been outlined by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon today.
The first minister has said the country must continue with restrictions until the majority of adults have a first dose of the vaccine, with all adults expected to be offered it by July 31.
While cautious, the framework will be accelerated if data allows.
The levels system will be implemented from the last week of April, with level areas moving to level three.
Non-essential retail, hairdressers, hospitality and gyms will reopen from the last week of April.
More details from the government will come mid-March, with full openings detailed then.
The rest of primary school children should also go back to school on March 15.
The stay-at-home message will also end on April 5 and household gatherings will also expand mid-April.
First Minister Sturgeon also said she hopes we can live our lives close to free by the summer.
More to follow.
