A MAN has been arrested and charged after a woman was robbed of cash and personal belongings on a Fife street on Friday night.
A 56-year-old woman got off a bus on Lochgelly's Bank Street before heading on to Chapel Street where she was approached and robbed by a male.
The man took her bag which contained a three-figure sum of cash as well as personal belongings.
Police said the man was wearing dark clothing and a surgical style face mask.
On Monday night police announced that a 40-year-old man had been arrested and charged with the crime.
He is due to appear in court on Tuesday.
