BIN collections throughout Fife will begin again next week, according to the council.
Due to the poor weather conditions, bin trucks could not enter many streets throughout the Kingdom leaving residents with overflowing rubbish.
People had been asked to leave their bins out and they would be collected when possible, but now the council has asked everyone to take their bin back in.
A statement read: “Normal bin collection service to resume next week.
“If your bin hasn't been emptied please take it in and we'll catch it next time it's scheduled.
“If you have reasonable excess waste by that time, bag it if possible and leave next to the bin. Recycling centres are open too.”
