WITH the Scottish Parliamentary elections still due to go ahead on May 6, Fifers are being urged to make sure they can vote.

Households will receive a letter in the next few days which lists the people, aged 16 or over, who are currently registered to vote at that address.

If someone is not included, they should register to vote now at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or contact Fife Council for a paper registration form.

You must be 16 or over on May 6 to vote in this election and must register to vote by April 19.

Polling stations will be open with appropriate hygiene and physical distancing measures in place.

Anyone who wants to vote by post should check their letter and, if they aren’t shown as a postal voter, they must get an application form to the council by 5pm on April 6.

For a form, or more information, go to www.fife.gov.uk/postalvote or email voters.roll@fife.gov.uk or calling 03451 55 55 11.
