AN EMERGENCY operation took place on Benarty Hill today as a walker was airlifted to hospital.
Emergency services responded to calls that a walker had fallen on Benarty Hill on Sunday afternoon.
Police, fire crews, ambulance service and the Ochil Mountain Rescue Team worked collaboratively to rescue the casualty.
An air unit from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency was also despatched which lifted the patient and transported them to hospital where their current condition is unknown.
