A FORMER depot in Lochgelly could be set to turn into an open space for the public if current plans are approved.

Fife Council has submitted an application to turn the former churchyard curtilage on Bank Street, Lochgelly, into a space, although it is unclear what it would be used for.

The planning application says: “Change of use from former depot site (demolished) and former churchyard curtilage to public open space including associated hard and soft landscaping and lighting columns, cycle stand and plant equipment (Non material variation to reduce height of seated area and change materials used for boundary wall at St Andrews Church 30 Bank Street Lochgelly.”
