NHS Fife has today (Friday) confirmed that two schools in Dunfermline have a positive coronavirus case.
The health board has revealed that Carnegie Primary School and Woodmill High School are affected.
Both schools have one person associated to it that have tested positive for COVID-19.
It is the second case that has been reported at Carnegie PS in as many days.
It was revealed yesterday that Carnegie PS, Dunfermline High and Queen Anne HS all had one positive case of COVID-19.
NHS Fife say their Public Health Test and Protect team has been investigating additional COVID-19 cases - at Carnegie PS and Woodmill HS - which were reported on Thursday.
A statement adds: "Cases in nurseries and schools are listed above if there has been an impact on the school or if action is needed to be taken.
"There are a number of useful resources available for parents in Fife, with information on how best to reduce the chances of your family contracting the virus and what you should do if someone in the household develops symptoms.
"These can be accessed at: www.nhsfife.org/news-updates/campaigns/coronavirus-information/information-for-parents/."
Fife Council has made a comprehensive list of questions and answers available for parents and carers at: www.fife.gov.uk/schoolcovidfaqs.
