LOVE Cowdenbeath has announced the winner of this year’s Look Local competition.
Shelley Allan from Cowdenbeath won the competition which was run to help support businesses following a particularly difficult year.
Shelley was able, as a result of winning, to pick five shops spend her winnings in and was given vouchers for those stores.
Love Cowdenbeath said: “It was felt the businesses on our high street needed our support more than ever and this competition was a way to urge people to turn to their town centre before travelling further afield or using online retail giants.”
Shelly received her prize in Lucie Sue Gifts and Coffee Bar. She said: “I had already decided I was going to shop local this Christmas and winning the vouchers was a welcome bonus.”
