The death toll in Fife has increased by eight.
EIGHT coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Fife in the last week.
The latest figures from the National Records of Scotland’s (NRS) report provides figures for the period from November 16 to 22.
Since the outbreak, they show that there have been a total of 232 coronavirus deaths in Fife.
The NRS death total is different from the count of deaths published daily by the Scottish Government because the latter is based on deaths of those who have tested positive for COVID-19.
The figures from NRS include all deaths where coronavirus (including suspected cases) was mentioned on the person’s death certificate
