A COWDENBEATH man assaulted his partner by grabbing her and pinning her down, trying to seize her phone.
Lee Masterton, 25, of Johnston Park, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He was found guilty previously of a charge that on June 18, at an address in Dunfermline, he assaulted his partner, seized her body, pushed her repeatedly onto furniture and pinned her down in an attempt to seize a phone, all to her injury.
Sheriff Charles Macnair told Masterton: “This was an assault on your then partner. Such behaviour will not be tolerated.”
The sheriff imposed a community payback order with 18 months of supervision and 125 hours of unpaid work.
He also imposed a non-harassment order for two years.
