A TOTAL of 272 calls were made to Cowdenbeath police in the past week, although just 11 per cent of those were relating to crime.
The local force has begun releasing a weekly update on its activity, and for the past seven days it received 31 calls which required an immediate response by officers.
They led to 29 crime files being recorded, and a total of 42 charges created.
Crimes included: assault to injury, fraud, dangerous driving and failing to stop following a collision.
