NHS Fife has confirmed an outbreak of coronavirus at a care home.
Up to 25 patients and staff have been confirmed positive at Craigie House Care Home in Crossgates, with all visiting to the home now suspended until further notice.
A spokesman for NHS Fife said: βIt is extremely important that those intending to visit residents in any care home refrain from doing so if they feel unwell or have any of the known symptoms of COVID-19, such as a high temperature; a new, continuous cough; or a loss or change to the sense of smell or taste.β
Anyone experiencing the well-established symptoms of COVID-19 should immediately self-isolate and arrange a test using the NHS inform website.
