A BALLINGRY man was caught driving when unfit to be behind the wheel.
Thomas Cannning, 39, of Ballingry Road, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted previously that on October 5 last year, at Main Street, Crosshill, he drove a car while unfit to do so through drink or drugs.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said: “As a result of this incident, he decided he shouldn’t have a car and he sold it.”
Sheriff Alastair Brown pointed out Canning had committed a similar offence three years ago.
Sheriff Brown fined Canning £375 and banned him from driving for three years.
