COWDENBEATH FC director John Cameron was given a nice surprise on Tuesday when the Blues visited Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Betfred Cup.

ICT had very kindly arranged for him to be presented with a bottle of whisky in a suitably socially distanced manner to mark a remarkable achievement for John, who also runs the Blue Brazil Lottery.

The Tulloch Caledonian Stadium was the only current SPFL ground where John had not seen Cowden play a match before Tuesday.

John, by his own reckoning, has actually seen Cowdenbeath play at 65 different away grounds, including the likes of Kilbowie Park (Clydebank), Shawfield (Clyde) and Cathkin Park (Third Lanark), now no longer football stadiums!

John said: "What a surprise. Warm thanks goes to all at Inverness Caledonian Thistle for this generous and thoughtful gift."
